torn comb!!

My handsome Homer (8 month old serama) had his big beautiful red comb. It was perfect!! He somehow got into some trouble and tore it! It is all still attached but the back half is purple! I really dont want to dub him. Will it heal??

Barring any infection it will most likely heal. You can apply some plain neosporin or vetericyn to the wound.

Depending on how severe it is , you may want to cage him in the run, so the other chickens don't pick at it while he heals.

Thank you, i did seperate him. It doesnt seem to bother him at all. So im hoping it heals
