tortilla chips

Can chickens eat tortilla chips? If you soak and soften them can they eat it? is it too much oil for them?

I give mine the crumbs and tiny pieces at the bottom of the bag- they LOVE them!! I don't think you would want to make a steady diet of them- but fun for a snack....

I would be more concerned about salty chips of any kind. Chickens' bodies are too small to process a lot of salt at one time. A salt overdose can kill them.
