Total Newby to chicks

Hi. I'm the mama hen of three of my own,ages 7,4 and 2. Over Easter break we bought 8 new chicks from a tractor supply sale. I am hoping the oldest will get involved in our local 4H while we have plenty of eggs to eat! Although I believe we were told the wrong breeds I have posted in the ID thread for help! I hope to learn a lot here!
