I was wondering the same thing. We stopped at TSC this morning. Chick Days were supposed to have started yesterday, Feb 23. The bins were all set up, but no chicks. The employees were not sure when they were coming in, because of the cold.
We did ask what kind they were getting and they said mostly production layers and production meat birds with a few other breeds thrown in. At least it kept temptation out of my reach.

Do those breeds fly well and do your wyandottes lay well? How many to you get a week?

I'm not the OP but I'll reply anyways lol. No, they are a heavy breed so they can't fly well. And they are good layers too :)
