Anyone know the breeds?
got them for $1ea at tractor supply. I know they are from Hoover’s hatchery but the employees had no info about breeds. I think the blackish ones are sapphire gem. Not sure about the lighter spotted ones

Hard to say with any certainty. Is it possible to see the leg colors of these chicks and if they have feathered legs or not?😊

I believe the spotted ones are Sicilian Buttercups. I think I see a buttercup comb on one :)
Oh wow I think you may be right. I’m just comparing to pics on google but the color scheme looks very similar
Does Hoover’s even carry those though? I doubt a feed store would have such a rare breed. Not to burst any bubbles. But I don’t see them on the website.

They don't always go through Hoover's. They don't match with any breed they carry. This down is often found in Golden Campines, Sicilian Buttercups, and Gold Pencilled Hamburgs. Buttercups are the most common of the trio and comb type matches.
