I saw it the other day and really like it, except for the quality of wood. No surprise there, though, because the prefab coops tend to be made of a very soft cheap wood that really doesn't hold up against the elements. I guess that is their way of ensuring you have to buy another one eventually.

Would you be letting them free range at all?

Hm, Quality of wood was the only thing, Unfortentally. How long do you think that would last? I lived in ME. I'm not by any sort of ocean/sea.

Yes, During the summer almost everyday, and in the winter when it's warm enough
 
That will help. Also, if you set it up on pavers so it doesn't sit doesn't on the ground that will help as well, and help keep anything from digging in, too.

The only reason I'm getting it is for my sister, she really likes the design and wants to get a couple bantams/hatch a few eggs.

Although, is there any better Pre-fab coops out there?
