    Here is a training schedule that I would recommend to a new racing pigeon
    fancier that could be modified to suit their needs.
    Feed and water always available for returning racing pigeons.
    My feeding system is very simple as they will normally receive
    full feed until mid afternoon before it's pulled.

    • Day 1 release racing pigeons from 2 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 2 release racing pigeons from 2 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 3 release racing pigeons from 4 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 4 release racing pigeons from 4 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 5 release racing pigeons from 8 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 6 release racing pigeons from 8 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 7 release racing pigeons from 12 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 8 release racing pigeons from 12 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 9 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 10 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 11 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM. (30 Minutes Or Less)
    • Day 12 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 13 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 14 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 15 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 16 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 17 release racing pigeons from 40 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 18 loft release no training.
    • Day 19 release racing pigeons from 40 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 20 loft release no training.
    • Day 21 release racing pigeons from 40 miles 7:00 AM. (3 Bird Toss)
    • Day 22 loft release no training.
    • Day 23 release racing pigeons from 60 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 24 loft release no training.
    • Day 25 release racing pigeons from 40 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 26 loft release no training.
    • Day 27 release racing pigeons from 20 miles 7:00 AM.
    • Day 28 loft release no training. (Shipping Day)
    • Day 29 Race Day
    Normal training from here on is Tuesdays and Thursdays 40 miles 7:00 AM.
