We will be going to pick up some chicks this afternoon. It is about an hour drive home from the store. Does anyone have some advice how to make sure the lil fluffy butts are comfortable? Will they be ok if no under a heat lamp for an hour or so?

They will be fine...They'll snuggle together in the box and all will be well. Take care and enjoy those little fuzz butts!

My chicks spent 2 days travelling through the postal system with no heat, yours will definitely be fine for an hour or so. Congrats on your new babies!
