Treat? Good idea or not??

Ok I have 18 chicks. They are 13 days old. In the picture you see a clump of lawn a bit of #1 chick grit, and chopped up dried mealworms. Is this too much?

I would chop up those greens - I feel like they get that stuff caught in their crop- but I am cautious.

My chicks are almost 4 weeks old and I still crush up their mealworms. I can't get chick grit in the stores here atm (completely out of stock). So I have been hesitant on giving them anymore but chick starter

If you can find sand it will work for the short term of ur chicks need it.
