Treat head injury from mating?

I have a five to one ration of hens to drake. It seems he has a favorite though. I noticed one girl seems to have an injury the back of her head from where he grabs her to mate. There is a spot about the size of a quarter where all the feathers have been pulled out, and it looks red and irritated. No pics yet. Is this something I should treat? Should I isolate him or her? Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you!

I'd send him to drake jail for a while till she heals. or put her separated with a another female. But eventually he will open the skin and you may be fighting an infection. Rinse the area with saline and put some triple antibiotic ointment or something else as long as it is similar.
