Treated Lumber

    Yay or nay on using it to build our coop?

    I'd certainly use it on any pieces that contact the ground. The bottom runners of my coop and run are pressure treated 2x4s, the remainder of the lumber is untreated.

    No problem for chickens. Wise to use it for ground-contact parts of coop; kinda stupid to use it anywhere else, IMO [​IMG]

    We did our run with PT lumber recycled from a kids swing set. I agree with the others!
