Treating bumblefoot

I just noticed this spot on the bottom of my silkies foot. She’s not limping or acting like it’s bothering her, but I’m afraid it’s bumblefoot. If it is I would like to get it taken care of before it starts bothering her. Any suggestions? Thank you.

It is bumblefoot. Try soaking her foot in warm water with some epsom salt to soften it before trying to pull off the ‘plug’.

Would I need to put anything on it after pulling off the plug? Wrap it? Is she going to need to be separated from the rest?
If you have vetercyrin, go ahead and spray that on it. If not, you can use bacitracin. You can use vetwrap or whatever else you have that’s like it (but won’t stick to her skin) to wrap the foot. You can separate her for a day or two to make sure it heals up, then she’s free to go. You can keep the wrap on a little longer, though.

This is after we tried pulling the plug out of the one foot. We put cream on it and wrapped it. Now she’s just walking around the yard pecking at the wrap a little.
