I have six chickens that are 14 weeks old. I think I may be dealing with the beginning of a coccidiosis outbreak as this morning I found one watery bright red bloody poop in the chicken coop and another watery bloody poop in the run. Other than the bloody poop none of the chickens are showing signs of being sick. The only feed store I have access to has the gallon size jug of corid in stock for $135 or they can order the 16 oz size and have it by the end of the week. If the chickens do have coccidiosis is it safe to wait until the end of the week to begin treatment or should I buy the gallon jug and begin treatment immediately. Thanks for any advise.
