Treats are great! But how often should I offer them?

Hello all,
I am extremely new to back yard chicken keeping and have 5 very happy chickens right now. I saw some ads for Happy Hen treats. I went to the farm store today and purchased dried meal worms and the raisin sunflower mix. My question is.. How often should I offer these treats?

You can throw a small amount out once or twice a day for them to scratch around and find them. About a handful for 5-10 birds. That's what I do.

Good advice - i believe that the general rule of thumb is that treats should constitute no more than 10% of total feed consumed per day (a handful is a lot easier to calculate

).
