Treats suitable for 6 week old chicks?

what treats are suitable to give my chicks?

iv read the charts that say what they like, but what is alright for ones this young?
any creative ideas or different foods you can give em?

mealworms are always a big hit and crickets, have your camera ready! also, mine like noodles- and bits of toast, also if you can get some outside dirt, but it in a box and let them dust, they love that too..

i gave them; apple slices, carrot slices, and some warm oatmeal.

oatmeal definatly won tonight. expecially with the BRs. greedy little stinkers.

Be sure they have a supply of grit.

Mine started off with spinach and strawberries from the garden last summer.
I diced it worrying about them choking on big bits.

I would not waste my time on dicing up food any more. They'll tear off bites they can deal with and if they are too big they'll spit them and and bite them in half. Unless another bird steals it from them first.

Chopped hard boiled egg. Plain, non-fat yogurt. Millet seed pods - the kind you buy for parakeets, be sure and remove the stalk first!
