Most fruits and grains can be given as a treat. My ducks are a fan of lettuce and sliced carrots

I don't give any treats until they are about 1 week old. The first treat I give them is crushed cheerios. The second threat is uncooked oatmeal (rolled oats).

Just make sure that before you give them any treats that you give them CHICK grit. I put a bowl of it in the brooder a coupe of days before I give them their first treat.

Cooked egg is always a hit. That might seem weird, but I don't think they know what it is.

Scrambled or hard boiled eggs mashed up fine are the very first thing I feed to my chicks when they arrive. It has everything they need for good health and they are crazy about it.

I am giving my chicks (3 weeks old) finely chopped hardboiled eggs, chopped dandelion greens, and one of those "Baby Cake" forage cakes. They weren't interested in anything other than their chick starter for the first week but now they really like their treats. They have free choice chick grit available and I also sprinkle it into their starter.
