I have a whole calendar with a different goats in trees picture every month . If the trunks are at a low enough angle, goats will climb up to get leaves, one of their favorite foods because they contain lots of minerals.

I have seen many examples of tree climbing goats while in Greece, I know !!!! ............. I couldn't believe it either but low and behold it's true, they can and will climb into tree's.

Quote:They seem just so evenly sprinkled in it, huh? [IMG] Goats are good climbers...king of the mountain has been played on more than one house roof, lol.

Hot2Pot, where did you find the calendar? That's cool.

That's wild & kind of cool too.

Notice the rest of the story

Even stranger still, the goats' droppings contain seed kernels which local farmers then grind into an oil that is used in cooking and cosmetics.
