I have a question which is considered a true rhode island red the dark red with darker legs or lighter red with more yellow legs?

They both look RIR. Color can vary in the breed based on breeding.

I agree with @oldhenlikesdogs. Personally, I prefer the darker Rhodies over the lighter Rhodies. But both are excellent birds.
