Hi, so this year I wanna try my hand at some red golden pheasnts, I really like them I mean their coloring and all.
I contacted this guy whois selling last years hatchings for $30 per males and $40 pre females, I'm looking to get a trio.
    Questions,
    Is that a good price?
Will last year hatch pheasants be laying this season?
When do they get all their wonderful colors?
    Thanks in advance.

You are getting a pretty good deal on them, oh, and they will lay in their first breeding season after maturity. They will lay in late April or early May for you.

I would start by getting rid of your mutts for some pure stock if you are serious about breeding them...

I don't think so, a few weeks back me and I believe JJ told you they were mutts.
