Trying to decide on breeds...

I'm finally getting back into chicks after nearly 2 years without any. I know this is going to sound really silly, but I like my flocks to "color coordinate." For instance, if I go with Black Australorps I'd like to have something that is white with black markings, or just white, etc. I like Buff Orpingtons with RIRs. That sort of thing.

What breeds would look lovely together, but complement one another well in temperament, disposition, and possibly laying habits?

Well, assuming you know what breeds are good for what, i'l just comment on the color thing.....

For instance, if you want the black and white look, you can go with Australorps, White Plymouth Rocks, Silver Laced Wyandotte and Barred Rock





Or wif you want more color, you can go with Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons, Brown leghorns, Golden Laced Wyandotte
