Trying to find diagnosis for my chick

I went and got a few chicks from the local CO-OP today and noticed one in the cage at the CO-OP was walking in circles and moving its head from side to side. My girlfriend couldn't resist not taking it so one of the workers gave it to me for free. At home after a few hours it has found the food and water but of course has a "journey" before it successfully makes it there. It is still walking in circles and it's head is still moving side to side(it's looks like it's scanning the room). Is this chick blind or is there something else wrong with it? It acts like it has plenty of energy too.

Sounds very much like wry neck. Start giving it some Poultry Nutri Drench. A few drops orally each day (be careful how you do this, don't force it, you don't want to make it aspirate) and add some to the water as well.

It can take some time to see improvement so don't get discouraged if nothing happens right away or even for a few days.
