I'm new to incubating...I'm on day 23 with 13 turkey eggs...one hatched last night and one early this morning. When do I get these out? I'm afraid to open incubator since it's so early and the others are still in there...help...

If your humidity is high. I remove mine when poults are dry and fluffy.

What type of incubator do you have?

For them to be hatching on day 23. Sounds like temp is running a few degrees high.

We're your eggs picked up from your hens daily or were they allowed to set on them.

If your brooder is ready pull the hatchlings out.

    Temp is 99.5

We got the eggs from a seller...so I'm not sure how old they were. All of the eggs are from the same place.

I have a digital styrofoam incubator.

If your using temp just of incubator there is a higher probability it reads wrong. Even on some of the upper end models.

If you're using an lg they are notorious for being off.

Always double check with an accurate secondary thermometer.

Since they came from another party. There could be a possibility they had been started incubating. Or it could be hot spot in the incubator.

Just keep an eye on the rest see if they hatch around day 28.

Congrats on the 2 that hatched.

Sending you the best the rest hatch for you.
