I am located in juicy North GA and this will be my first little flock through the summer. I would really appreciate any tips on the type of feed to give them, how to store it and keeping them cool. Also, what about their bedding? I guess I will need to change it out more frequently than in the winter. Oh, and how about their metal water... is there anything I need to add to it to keep it mold free? Thanks soooooo much to everyone! Love this forum [IMG]

You can use apple cider vinegar in the water to help with algae buildup. As for bedding I just use hay. Straw molds so hay is a better bet. Pine shavings to me are just too messy.

ACV can't be used in metal waterers, it corrodes them. It is fine for plastic though.
