Hi all!
I bought a few bantams at TS this past week and was told that I got silkies, and/or old English game breed. I know there is only one Silkie because it’s the only one with black beak, skin and feet. It has five toes on one foot and 6 on the other! I’ll show you, it got pushed into water and then had poop dried to it so it is soaked in this photo but dried and warmed right after getting cleaned. (I’m guessing that the number of toes means I shouldn’t breed her? Maybe only use her as a brooder?)
The others I need identified are...one is reddish head, with brown, black and white splash wings, clean legged; and then 4 of them are peach/tan, with peach feathers and greyish black stripes down the wings, and those have leg feathers.

Can anyone help me figure out what these really are? There is no way they are silkies and they don’t really look like OEG photos I’ve found. And they don’t look like each other either. Help!

The silkie looks as if it has 6 toes instead of the normal silkie 5. The silkie is not show quality. I am still suspicious about the six toes.. 🧐

My sister has a silkie with 6 toes, it's a pet quality bantam silkie though. She named her Marshmallow. I hatched her from my silkies.

First is a Silkie and the last is a Mille Fleur D'uccle. The second one doesn't look like a bantam at all. It looks like a Production Red (which are LF).
Are the Mille Fleur D’uccles bantams?
I wondered if it was a production red slipped into the wrong brooder.

Yes, they are pretty tiny bantams.

I wondered if it was a production red slipped into the wrong brooder.
TSC is notorious for mixing up chicks in the bins. The other day at TSC I saw a bin labled easter eggers, and there were easter eggers... along with a sapphire gem cockerel, barred rocks, a golden comet, a RIR, and some crele colored chicks (bielefelders?). I wouldn't be surprised at all if they put some LF breeds in with the bantams.
