TSC Bantams - What kind are they?

On Saturday, we picked out 6 straight run bantams with the hope of getting 6 girls. We intentially picked 6 that look different from each other, so we have no idea what kind we picked. My daughter did some "homework" yesterday and thinks this is what we picked. I'd love to get your opinions too!

"Violet" - Old English Game - unsure of the specific breed



"Martha" - White Silkie - she does have 5 toes.


"Naomi" - Self Blue Old English Game Bantam


"Ruth" - Black Japanese Bantam


"Annabelle" - Black Tailed Buff Japanese Bantam??


"Myrtle" - Mottled Cochin?


I know that as they get older, it'll definitely be easier to identify them, but it sure is fun to guess!!

I agree with all your breed guesses. Your first chick's variety is probably Black Breasted Red.

Updated pictures - 3 weeks old. I thought I'd post new pictures because I think we are definitely off on a couple of our guesses...Here they are at 3 weeks, in the same order as before:


"Violet" Old English - black breasted - still think this is true.


"Martha" - White Silkie - I think this is definitely true


"Naomi" - Self Blue Old English Game Bantam - Maybe true?



"Ruth" - Black Japanese Bantam - She's actually a real pretty dark grey color now. Definitely not black, so I'm not sure if this is correct or not...



"Annabelle" - Black Tailed Buff Japanese Bantam - Her tail feathers are the same color as her wing feathers, a real pretty brown color...so I think we were wrong on this one...any new suggestions?



"Myrtle" - Mottled Cochin - Feathers are coming in ALL BLACK except for one white wing feather...so now I'm leaning towards a Black Cochin...what do you think?
