While I was just putting in the figures of my Turbo tax returns, I found that IL has a "user fee" tax for all purchases made to and from IL. I have sold a few things on Ebay AND bought alot of stuff on Ebay as well.
I have not gotten any tax statement yet from Ebay. Should I be waiting for it? Or is there a place where I can look up what I have sold AND bought in earnings? I don't have any idea how to go about doing that. I am not a business nor a hobby, I just buy and sell stuff I don't need.
Anyone know or is this IL state tax geared toward business owners, not private sector?
