These are my older chicks. They are roughly 3 weeks old. I figure 2 are boys since the darkest one and one of the darker buff chicks are a bit larger and have 2xs the comb size than the other 4 chicks. They are in with our oldest Black orpington - Boy?. He too has a much larger comb and his legs are so HUGE! - and our RIR/Barred rock - also boy?.

The Black Orp, the Barred Rock and the darkest Turken look like cockerels to me, as well as the "middle" one facing away from the camera in the 2nd photo.

Quote:Yeah, that's the "darker buff" one I was talking about in the post. They are just a bit bigger, pushier and they take turns herding everyone else around. Plus with the combs and legs already staring to be larger, they scream "I'm a Boy!"

So does anyone need a Turken cockerel?
