In anticipation of getting some Narragansett eggs and possibly Bourbon Red eggs in the near future "Spring" still trying to learn as much as I can on incubating turkey eggs. How many times do they need to be turned manually in 24 hour period. Also when they come shipped how long do you need to rest them in an egg carton in upright position big end up before putting them in the incubator?

Turn them 4 to 5 times a day.

Let them rest for at least 24 hours in egg carton.

After you put them in the incubator I wouldn't turn them for 2 days.

Yes. Let shipped eggs settle for 24 hours. Then place in incubator and don't turn them for a couple of days.

Just a little more time for the air cell to stabilize if it get roughed up during shipping.
