Can someone show a picture of a turkey egg? My neighbors have a female turkey and several ducks and the turkey is sitting on a cluch of eggs but I think they look like duck eggs. I don't think I have ever seen a turkey egg. I told them that I would try to hatch some eggs for them but I need to know what kind of eggs I am hatching.

Turkey eggs should have spots on them, i dont think they are plain white like a duck, my wild eastern turkeys have brown specs all over them.

There is a good example of how long can eggs be held for hatching.

She has 14 eggs there, but she may have even skipped a day on some of them. Bet most of them hatched if she came back to them to. Thats pretty average for wild turkeys to set on 14 eggs, same thing our wild girls do and in most cases they have at least a 97% hatch here setting.

Thanks for posting that wild nest pic..
