turkey feeding

    hey guys what should i do to fatten my turkeys .i feel they are not so feedlot. i want to raise their weight around 8 kg but they are 3 to 4 kg maximum.they are 9 month old and they are feeding by vegetabales and customary foods.

    I am feeding them with some foods like bread vegetables or corns and i feel they are full after eat these foods. I think i should feed them by some additional foods like vitamins??!!

    What is their source of protein? 4 kg at 9mo is unacceptable (unless you are raising nothing but Royal Palm hens or midget Midgets). Are they getting any commercial poultry feed?

    Even if regular turkey feed is unavailable, chicken feed will do in a pinch. Crushed hard boiled eggs are a good source of protein.
