Turkey Gender Opinions?

Here is a picture of our Bronze (boy)? We were told that is what he is. He is now 9 months old, but there is no sign of a beard or spurs. What do you think?

He looks way too female to me. I have males that are younger than that and they look very male. By now you should see signs of the beardy thing and a lot more color in the head and neck and the snood is quite long when relaxed. I'll try and find a current pic to show you a turkey (nargansette) that hatched in June. HenZ

I tried to put him(?) in with a femal Easter Wild, and all they did was fight. Do females strut? This boy(?) did strut (sort of) but I think that it may be that females will strut when treatened.

Very pretty narrangansett hen you got there! And yes hens will strut too, its a dominance behaviour, she wanted to show your eastern whos boss.

If it was a Bronze, it would be about the color of the Eastern Wild.
