Turkey neck injury - infection? Gross pics

My turkey was mauled by a dog over a month ago. Her neck was entirely exposed. I kept her inside and she was healing better than I expected. Then three weeks ago she got pecked by a chicken, and it broke the sack surrounding her backbone. I kept putting BluKote and and iodine wash on it. After about a week, it suddenly “blew up” with a bulge. I began giving IM penicillin. There are now three bulges. She’s been on injections for 7 days.

Is there anything else I should do for her? Should I try to lance the bulges?

The swelling seems to be splitting the sack even more.

It looks necrotic (dead tissue). I would keep up the antibiotics and clean it out the best you can. She looks alert though!

Just peeled away some of the hardness. This is what’s in the bulge.
