Turkey? Pickles?

Hi all

I know that it's not recommended to feed chickens chicken, but what about feeding them Turkey?
I made a batch of dill pickled yellow squash last fall that came out too mushy for my liking. Are those ok to feed to the flock or is there too much salt?

The not feeding chicken to chickens is a people thing. Chickens don't care.

I have on occasion fed my flock pickled beets which they rapidly dispose of. Pickled beets, at least the way I make them, do not get any salt added in the process.

Any other opinions?

Beets do have a lot less salt than dills.
