I seen and read that u can pick a poultry up around the head and mid chest with the feet free to move and if they pull there feet to there belly it's a Tom and if they hang freely it's a hen. Dose anyone know anything about this? I can begin a test later this week if all goes well with hatch. Also any other ways to properly sex day old chicks pls send the info my way lol thanks

I think you have gotten your reading a little confused. If you hold a poult or a chick on its back in the palm of your hand and the poult or chick pulls its legs up tight to its chest, it is a good sign that it is a hen. Toms or roosters will either keep their legs kicking or leave one or both legs up or back. Again this is just an indication. There are a number of tests that can be done and if all of the tests come out with the same results it is a strong indication of the sex.

Some varieties of chickens and turkeys (not all) can be feather sexed when they are 1 to 3 days old. Hens will have 2 distinct rows of wing feathers while males will have only one row of wing feathers.

@Celie did a post about identifying sex on poults a number of years ago. When all the comparisons are used and not just one or two, she is extremely accurate on sexing poults.

Ok I'll hit her up thanks I know I read something like that. The chicks I know bc of the wing sexing but I got over 10 dozen turkey eggs hatching in next 3 week's and trying to run some test on sexing them thanks again
