There is a yahoo group that talks about them, but not in the way BYC talks about chickens, kwim? If you are looking for a board simply for information it might fit the bill for you.

Go to yahoo and do a search for RareHeritageTurkey

I have not been active on that board, but from looking at the home page a minute ago, it looks as though they have added some newer things, I may check it out again.

I agree, RHT is a good site, a lot of very knowlegable folks. The only possible drawback is they really don't like off topic subjects. The site is for turkeys, and only turkeys. If you do decide to join, you have to put in a request, and expect to be moderated for a while.

The Porters there have some nice birds, and put a lot into their breeding program http://www.porterturkeys.com/ and Sandhill Preservation http://www.sandhillpreservation.com/catalog/turkeys.html has some nice birds. Neither of these are exactly cheap, but they go for quality over quantity.
