My poor little turkey (approx. a month and a half old or so based on how long I've had her and what the person I got her from said) is all swollen under her eye and doing a little sneeze. I've done lots of research already and I'm going to try the Tylan 50 injections but I've heard so many different things of where to do it; into the sinus (that sort of freaks me out), on the back, or even just shooting down her throat (minus the needle of course).

Is there any one that can tell me what my best bet it? I want to get her feeling better soon so she can join her brood mates again! Thank you!

I would recommend giving it orally, since it can cause muscle damage. I used it once as an injection into the breast muscle without any problem. Dosage is 50 mg or 1 ml per 5 pounds, twice a day for 5 days. How much does she weigh? In larger birds, Tylan 200 can be used, and it is 200 mg per ml or 4 times as strong.
