We have a trio of midget white turkeys that were raised with our wyandotte pullets. These are our first turkeys and we REALLY enjoy them. The whole flock ranges farther and is more friendly being raised with the turkeys. But we put a light in the hen house to get eggs all winter and now my turkey hens are laying (at about 8 months of age). We hoped they would raise their own poults, but that's not going to happen in winter in upstate NY. Will they still lay in the spring? Or have we messed them up badly with the coop lights? Advice?

Turkeys are seasonal layers. If you get them started laying early in the year, they will stop laying early too.

Mine normally lay from March until October. I would expect yours to stop laying sometime between next spring and summer.
