Two days ago my buddy and I picked out two chicks from a straight run and we were wondering... What gender do you think they are? And what breed?

I picked it out because of the stripe running down its back. It was the only one there with the stripe.

And then there's this one. It seems to be more feisty than the others.

There will be no telling on the gender till 6 to 10 weeks or longer depending on breed.

I can tell gender on Penedesencas at 2 or 3 weeks but that is very rare. I had a Cochin I thought was a pullet till almost full grown. NOT!

    Too early to determine gender.

The chick in the 3rd pic looks like a Rhode Island Red. Definitely too early to tell gender. :)
