well, the day before yesterday, i saw my little hen (she's very heavy with eggs i presume) strain and close her eyes nd gasp, and out popped a MASSIVE EGG. Double yolker. yesterday i found an even bigger one in the nestbox, and that was a double yolker too!

is she a double yolker girl?!

I have a black pullet that lays double/triple yolkers on a regular basis. Hers are usually so big they don't fit into the Jumbo egg cartoons.

So yes, I would say she is a double yolker girl, at least for now. As she gets older she may slack back to one.
