All of my chickens - the juveniles and the adults - free ranging together today. Together yet seperate, as the babies give the adults a wide berth. So they all out there and two of the pullets - a speckled sussex and a turken - kinda wander away from their flock a bit, so my adult roo Thor made his move. He started calling to them with his "I've got a treat!" noise and not being able to resist Thor's good looks and charm, they go running to him. Their own cockerel, Impy, tried to call them back with his own treat noise, but they ignored him. If a rooster could kick the dirt and curse, Impy was. The two girls did go back to their own coop at bedtime and got thoroughly chastised by Impy for their wandering ways.
