    HI,

On Wednesday, I found my first egg. Thursday, there was another. Friday and yesterday, none. Is this normal?

The pullets are gold sex links, and will be 17 weeks this Tuesday, so they're young. Is that why, or is this gap in eggs normal? Or maybe the shorter days? But then why would she start laying at all???

They're in an enclosed coop, so they're not sneaking off somewhere to lay. I don't think they're eating eggs, because I've looked carefully and haven't found any traces.

    Can anyone explain?

    Thanks.
