That first boy is adorable! How old is he and is he friendly? I really want a Serama roo for showmanship, and he sure is cute!

They are both about 3 months old, and he hasn't been handled much, but he's the lowest on the pecking order, and so he calms down when taken away from the other boys. He'll probably make a nice showmanship bird. Just make sure to check with your local poultry club/4H leader, sometimes you need to have a bird that's actually in the standard.

Cool, I'm interested in him. Will you be at the Bakersfield show this weekend?

I will not be at the show. My weekends have been crazy lately (dirt biking trip, then Fresno show, then 2 hour drive to beauty pageant), and I'm taking a break to get ready for chickies!

Jeez, what a hectic weekend! And not to mention an odd combination of hobbies... chickens, dirt bikes, and beauty pageants. [IMG] Would it be possible to order a half dozen eggs? I'd rather do that anyways, that way I can vaccinate the babies for Marek's Disease. And if that's possible, do you know if anybody in your area is going to the show that could deliver the eggs?

Quote:It is not possible to get a 1/2 dozen eggs to you by this weekend, sorry. I'm being very selective of when I'm sending out eggs and when I'm hatching. I haven't put a batch in the incubator yet, and that's my first priority. However, I can put you down on the list and I'll notify you when I do have eggs to ship.
