Would very much like to learn what type of chicken my 'rare exotic chick' may be. I received an order of chicks from McMurray the first full week of April of meat birds (Red Rangers) and fresh layers (Speckled Sussex, RIRs, Leghorns).

This bird has dark legs and feet with speckled wings. The wings almost like the Speckled Sussex chicks - but this bird is much larger and has a darker chest and maybe a 'beard'.

The comb doesn't look very big. Scale-wise, the chick is a bit smaller than the Red Rangers, a bit larger than the RIRs, and much larger than the Speckled Sussex.

    Thanks for having a look!
