Two yolks in one egg!?!?!?!

    Today we cracked open our eggs and the first one we opened.......................

    It's fairly common. I get one every few months. It's basically the same process as when human ladies have fraternal twins. Some people thinks it's good luck!

    I have 2 Buff Orpington
    2 Black Australorp [dont no how to spell it]
    2 Americanas [they r so awesome they have beards,green feet,and lay blue/green]
    and a pretty flacid rooster[​IMG]

    I have Red Sex Links and they give me a huge egg every week or so. It doesn't fit in the cartons. I have to put them in a bowl in the fridge. Then we have a double-yolker fried egg night when we get enough. Nothing like fresh eggs.

    Nice!!! That chicky is a keeper!!!!! I had a few who were consistant double yolkers. They make interesting deviled eggs too!

    I've got a dozen layers. I don't know if its just one hen or multiple. I just hope they don't prolapse themselves. That wouldn't be good.
