Tx- Blk Brahmas??

    No, brahmas have a pea comb and a different color pattern. Those look like black cochins.

    Those do look like Black Cochins...As brooster says a Brahmas has a pea comb...3 breeds of brahma are light, buff and dark not black.....(correcting there are blacks [​IMG] )

    I stand corrected!...I see in my poultry book, I got for Christmas [​IMG] where they do have blacks!!......... Brahmas have pea combs, those still look like Cochins...I've never seen Brahmas with that much feathering on their feet...

    The size and feathering does make them look like black Brahmas, but Tuffoldhen is right, the comb is all wrong. I don't think they're a cross, but either way they are great looking birds! Looks like Tx_dane_mom had a Petfinder night. [​IMG] I search it too, but the Sulphur, OK agency doesn't ever have anything I could take. [​IMG]

    No doubt about it those are very handsome birds, looks like they have been well taken care of from the pic...Hope someone is close enough to take them....
