Hello everyone! I have a hen with respiratory issues. It was recommended to administer Tylan 200, but I need help with the dosage. Can anyone assist? Also, what are your thoughts on VetRX for respiratory issues. We have dabbed on her exterior, but can that be administered orally and if so, thoughts on dosage for that? Thank you for help!

Vet Rx is a remedy like vicks vapor r rub. It may help or not - you can try. Instructions of how to use it are either on the box or insert. Found instructions online as well. https://www.drugs.com/vet/vetrx-poultry-remedy.html
Tylan has a wide range dose of 10-40mg/kg given orally 3 times a day.
Going somewhat mid range at 25mg/kg dose for Tylan200 is 0.05mg (ml) per pound of weight given orally 3 times a day for 5 days.
