My mom wants a white duck but she doesn't know the breeds. I want to know what kinds of white duck breeds there are?
And chicken breeds? And if they can be nice to a Swedish black duck.

I have two white Pekins that live very happily with my three Swedish (two blue +one black). Also there are white calls and mallards i think but those are smaller birds.

Do you mean white chickens? I have white leghorns. I know there are more white breeds but i do not know them.

By have eggs together do you mean breed. Yes, but if it is a Muscovy (Type of duck different from mallard derived) they will be mules and the babies will be sterile. But any mallard derived duck can breed with any mallard derived duck and have eggs hatch. They will be mixes but the babies will be fertile. Some Mallard derived are pekins, sweedish, Runners, and many more.

If you just get females they will lay eggs for eating. Keeping different breeds together does not matter.

As for the chicken question here is BYC breed list. Chickens can breed with other breeds of chickens you just have to make sure they are around the same size.

No they would not be. If you get a male and female they will breed. If you dont want ducklings just remove the eggs every day. They are fine for eating.

I don't think we will eat them, she eats dog and cat food and bird seed and duck feed.
