UH OH! Is Miss Jemima a Mr?

    Ok so I Just bought a polish and silkie about a month ago, thinking they were pullets. One was three days (silkie) the other a week (polissh)the silkie, MISS Jemima started crowing at only six to seven weeks!!!! Is this a roo or pullet?[​IMG]

    There is a thread section for what sex breed color variety, but that's okay. If your sure its a crow I'd say roo. The only time a hen should crow is if there is no rooster around and usually it happens to older birds.

    If its crowing at this age, then I would say that it is a rooster. Hens have been known to crow, but that generally only happens in old hens that have ovary problems.
