Here are pictures of a few of my dairy-and some beefy- cows:
First off this little was just born and seems to like people (unlike the other calfs we have) so ive desided to think of a name for her and possibly 'brake' her. any ideas for names??

And here comes my favorite dairy cow marry, unlike the other cows she loves people and even being out in the back pasture without much human contact and she still loves me and finally she was moved to the main lot but sadly her first calf passed away [IMG] but here she is!!! [IMG]

her picking her nose. (dont ask [IMG]) [IMG]

Nothing as cute as a calf. Well, maybe lots of them. Great pics.

LOL the nose picking picture cracked me up!

I know it's silly, but I'm scared to death of cows. Goes back to being chased out of a pasture by some playful calves as a child, I guess. DH and I are considering low lines when we move to Indiana...so perhaps the wee ones won't be so intimidating.

I love the pic of the red one by the fence post. She looks just like one of ours who is a Red holstein and jersey cross.

Have you checked out the sister site, www.backyardcows.com?
