I'm in the Keys. We are bad off. Totally surrounded by water, yet we are thirsty!!! Too much rain in a short amount of time, I know what ya mean. Doesn't soak up so quick. Sucks. Ummm, so your house is literally flooded? I gotta see this. Turning on weather channel right now!

Haha my floors haven't seen a mop in two years. We need a hurricane bad. Floors are gettin pretty sticky! j/k Looks like we might get a tad of that rain. Maybe I should go out and do the Florida Keys Rain dance. You know the dance, where you water your lawn then it pours down rain.

We just left Orlando this morning...Friday and Saturday were OUTRAGEOUS with the amount of rain crashing down. It was scary...we kept looking around for a tornado or a lightning bolt comin' straight at us!

    * Fortunately, the flooded area drains fast down here when the rain does stop. But, curses on whatever prosy-headed dip that came up with the idea of low slab foundations!!!! Stuff sinks into the sand in a relative hurry. In my 54 year old house that sinking now puts us at less than 1/3rd of an inch above the sand in certain spots!!!!! P.s. Hollie-- rain, sure!! Hurricane, no thanks!! We're gonna need to be doing that rain dancing on the berm of LAKE O, or the whole lot of us are gonna get REAL THIRTY, I'M THINKING!!! Moron developers!!!!
